In 1996, the Spence family did what all great adventures start with — they said “yes” to an opportunity. They took the reins of a local Miracle distributor in Temecula, California and launched Miracle Playground Sales with a big vision and a whole lot of heart.

They partnered with one of the most trusted names in play, Miracle Recreation Equipment Company (est. 1927), because when you’re building spaces for kids to climb, spin, and imagine, quality matters. Not long after, they added Poligon — the gold standard in pre-engineered shelters — so communities could gather in comfort and shade. And because no great park is complete without a splash of excitement, Vortex joined the lineup, bringing world-class splashpads and aquatic play to the Southwest.

As word spread, so did the territory. Miracle Playground Sales expanded across Southern California and into Arizona and Nevada. Along the way, long-time family friends joined the mission, keeping the business rooted in what matters most: trust, reliability, integrity, and relationships that last longer than recess.
